I’m Leo — the coach behind Darkbloom Strength.
Training has been a part of my life for over 10+ years, and I’ve lived every side of the journey: I’ve lost 110 lbs, rebuilt myself through strength, and turned discipline into a lifestyle. Along the way, I’ve competed in 6 powerlifting meets, a CrossFit competition, and even ran a half marathon — because I believe real performance is built through consistency, not shortcuts.
I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Central Florida, and I’ve logged 200+ hours of research participation with the UCF Institute of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation Science. That experience shaped how I coach today: evidence-based, detail-driven, and focused on long-term progress.
I also genuinely love educating others on technique — not just quick fixes, but cues and principles you can use for your entire lifting career. My favorite client is the one who’s ready to work the hardest, no matter the goal: getting in shape for a wedding, prepping for summer, improving overall health, or stepping on the platform for a powerlifting meet.
Darkbloom Strength is for people who want to train with purpose — to grow through pressure, stay relentless, and become the strongest version of themselves.
Yes coaching includes nutritional recommendations in the form of general guidelines to help reach whatever physique goals you have. That means I will give you macronutrient recommendations, BUT NOT A MEAL PLAN. You must legally be a registered dietitian to write meal plans.
